Siti Z has been seriously dabbling in theatre for more than a decade. After more than a half lifetime worth of theatre, Siti Z has come to a solid conclusion. Theatre is the one thing she can’t keep her hands off.
If you’ve seen Daphne on stage recently, she would have been some kind of singing animal or princess in family musicals such as I Theatre’s The Gingerbread Man and The Little Red Hen. She also loves words and strings them together for money and love (i.e. she’s also a writer).
Rachel has had the pleasure of performing in Dream Country – A Lost Monologue (Singapore Arts Festival in 2012), This Placement, The Waste Land (Teater Ekamatra), Juxtaposition (Singapore Biennale 2013), Decimal Points 810 (Cake Theatrical Productions), Rock Out – The Baybeats Edition (Esplanade Presents: Paint The Sky Red) and Studios50: New Voices (Esplanade Presents). She turns to film for escape and inspiration, and when she is not performing, Rachel plays with sharp objects like embroidery needles and scalpels. She enjoys collecting bruises in dance classes and crawling through bushes in search of abandoned spaces.
